I threw in some xenon headlights and upgraded the fogs to super brites xenon bulbs also I im pretty sure that one of these caused my headlight harness recepticle to melt. Anybody had this problem What can I do other that replacing it and should go back to stock head lights?

I have alot of people telling me they have the same problem after they did the same thing those bulbs burn very hot I do believe its supposed to come with some kinda resistor or something like that to help it out but I think you maybe better off just sticking with the OEM headlights.

You need to be carefull of the higher wattage xenon headlamps because they draw more power than the stock head lamps causing harness melt in some cars. If you want a better solution try the PIAA Xtreme White bulbs, they have the higher 95/120 watt rating but still draw the stock 55/65 Watt power, the down side is that most places sell them for $70-80 a set, but they are well worth it and don't blow your harness.
