Well I'm thinking of upgrading my heads next year to compliment the Twin turbo project I'm planning to do. I was wondering if I should go with afr 165 or the 185. I don't know much about the heads except for the fact that everybody reccommends them. All my buddies are true followers of the trickflow tw. I want to set out of the box.

Nothing comes to mind, really. I'd say you will definately want to do it on a lift, preferably a side post. Make sure your lower control arms are in right, or the panhard will ride on the anti-sway bar, it will ride like a floorjack and you won't be able to see why unless it's on the ground. If you are using their coilovers, don't overtighten the spring perch, the little hex screw just has to touch the sleeve. Any more and it will stress the perch and it'll crack. Remember, most coilover kits don't even use a set screw so it doesn't have to be tight. Other than that, it's pretty strait forward.

Later? You have to get all four springs at once. Well, you should. the fronts will have to be a different rate to make up for the rears. About the control arms, yes, make sure they are on the right side. You wouldn't think it would be that easy to get them upsidedown and backwards, but I managed to. The only way to tell on the MM lowers is that the anti sway bar mounts should be on the end near the torque boxes, not the rear end. They definately favor one side, make sure it's the right one.

Cool! WHen I got mines in the mail they were already labeled driver and passenger. I guess too many people requested that it be done.

Yeah, it was me. I was the first one to have thay problem  spent a long time on the phone with them trying to figure out what was wrong. emailing them pictures, etc. When we figured it out we told them they need arrows on them. That was about a year ago I think, so they've had plenty of time to think of something. Driver and passenger labels it is then! Good to here it. This is just one example of how cool these guys are. They were a group of engineers who like stangs, and did thouusands of hours of R&D to perfect their ideas; but they aren't so high and mighty that when you find a problem with something they tell you to get lost or talk down to you. When I had problems with Steeda parts, and found flaws in their design, they told me I didn't know what I was talking about. When I had trouble with UPR parts, they told me I just didn't know how to set them up right. When I had problems with MM stuff, they acted like I was one of their employees testing a part I didn't think measured up to their standards. They have always treated me that way, and that's top notch customer service.

Thanks! I was going to do the rear end first because my upper control arm mount is ripping/ripped and I'm afraid of making it worst. I can't stand the noisey bastard! But if I was to wait to get the front coil over kit than I can't put everything on until the end of this year. Just don't have the money for it right now.

Hmmm... just don't be too disappointed if it doesn't handle fantastic. The key to the TA giving us world class handing is in the proper spring rates. MM may have an idea for you though, their pretty good about trying to work whithin your budget to give you what you need in stages that will work. Definately call them before you make up you mind.
