Well I just put my 17" 98 cobra wheels on and they look great. Only problem is now my car looks like it's on stilts! I wasn't planning on dropping it for a while, but it needs it bad so looks like I'll be dropping it as soon as I get a couple more paychecks. Anyway, I'm looking for decently priced QUALITY parts to put on the car. No second rate crap, only the best for my baby lol. I will also be putting on a set off Maximum Motorsports CC plates. What shocks and springs are good? The car is daily driven and sees dragstrip duty once or twice a month. I'm looking for decent handling, decent drop but not slammed, and something that will hook well. I will also be installing some MM adjustable uppers lower CA's and sub's when funds allow. What shock/spring combo will compliment these other parts?

I used Edelbrock IAS struts/shocks and FRPP springs and CC plates on mine. It dropped it about 1 to 1.5 inches. Looks nice and handles great. It's stiff, but I commute about 100 miles a day and it doesn't bother me.

I have Steeda Sport springs ($170) and Bullit tokico shocks/struts. All around it was a cheap package, the ride is rough for my wife and others who aren't into cars, but man does it handle!

I just installed H&R Super sport springs with Tokico 5-way adj. Illuminas. The drop is nice, but I wish I went a little bit further. The ride is almost identical to stock, with the fronts set at 5, the hardest, and the rears at 3. You notice a huge difference in the lack of body roll going around the corners with these, though.

i was thinking of getting a package from MM with bilstein shock/struts and H&R springs. however after seeing some pics of cars with those springs i don't think i would be satisfied with the drop. i want something a little bit lower. btw i am running 17" rims with 245/45's. a slight gap is ok, but not too much. i will have adjustable CA's in the future so if i need to raise the rear a little to put DRs on i'll be able to.

keep the suggestions coming!
