Hello,

I just purchased FRPP 4.10 gears for my 2003 Mustang GT Vert. I am waiting to install them until I can get something to recalibrate my speedo after the install. What is the best/cheapest thing to do to correct the speedo? I have a Superchip module but can't find anyone to custom program it for the new gears. Hoping to stay under $100 for the speedo correction.

Thanks,

Rich

Do you know of a place to go or send to have it reburned? I have checked here in San Antonio but noone can reburn it for a gear change. They had no problem with the standard program but don't seem to know how to reburn for the gear change.

Thanks,

Rich

Pull the ECU out and send it to Tim @ T&J Performance for a reflash. He did mine for the 3.73's in my car for $100 plus $9 return shipping and it took 3 days total out and back. His web site is www.modularfordpowerhouse.com you can actually order the re-flash on the web site and he will call you for information and give you shipping instructions. I like it becuse it's more of a stock solution and no need for a speed-cal to be spliced in and laying under the console.

!

Thanks for the replies. I sent emails to superchips but they said that they could not help me. They did not do the custom burns and gave me the link to superchipcustom website. I sent them an email and was told that they did not do custom burning for the blue module and that I would need to order a programmer. I don't think so! I guess that if there is noone out there that reburns the chips for gear changes then I will get the speedcal. I can't see sending in my entire computer and being down for 3 days waiting for it to return.

Thanks,

Rich
