From my personal experience the ultraflows sound better than the welded. Right now I am running bassani shorties, bassani off road x and ultraflow catback. The only thing I would change these mufflers for would be Bassani, expeinsive yes but worth every penny.

Anyone run these Race Bullets with tails? I'm interested in replacing the replacement "turbo" muffler shop mufflers on my car and like the way the Bullets sound even with the stock Hpipe(mustangexhaust.com). I have an '86 GT and have the current system dumped but wanna put my 2.5" tailpipes I got layin around in the garage. I like the price of these muff's and I'll agree they sound badass.

i run my car with race bullets with tails looks just like stock if you do this you need to take it to a muffler shop cause you got to bend the pipes but it does sound real good people tell me it sounds awesome all the time i cant wait till i get my off road pipe and some headers

i went to mustangexhaust.com and im sold on the bullets when it comes time. that was imo the best sounding thing on that site. do dumps make that much of a difference on those

How much did they modify your tails to fit?? I've looked up the Bullets on Summit and they seem much shorter than other mufflers. Most likely need to weld an extension of some sort to the tailpipe-to-muffer part. My tails are from my old Flowmaster cat-back and those mufflers were pretty long. I can't even hook up my tails to my current system cause they don't extend back enough to the muff's. I figured I'd wait to get them installed with some good mufflers.
