Where are all the plenum posts? I recall many folks claiming they were going to go out and purchase one right after the plenum test results were posted.

Where are the plenum success stories? What happened? Nobody talks about this mod. much these days.

I just saw 2 on page 1. Everyone whos putting it on seems happy. Im guessing its my next and final mod. What do you want like the entire first few pages full of "im so happy with my plenum/tb mod"? Do a search, youll probably find plenty. If your being sarcastic, which Im willing to bet you are... why?
I dont get why some people on this board are convinced they know the exact way to mod modular cars :nonono: . What works for you may or may not work for someone else. Im not "calling anyone out" lol, I can just see where this thread is going...
Man I wish I had more hands.... then I could give this thread four :notnice: ...

Im Rick James Bitch!!!

I noticed a lot plenum talk before the 2nd test, but I seriously think it has died down dramatically since that last test. I could be wrong. It’s just an observation. If you go back and read the test thread you will see lots of guys claiming they were going to purchase one. Usually when someone gets a new mod. and likes it, they post comments about how happy they are. I haven’t seen many of those since the last test was completed. I am making some assumptions, but I’m thinking that test made a lot of people re-think their plenum purchases.

No it's a worthy mod, but all the poeple that were rushing out to get one already have, and most likely posted up their opinions about it. Are you saying it's not a worthy mod ? If so you picked the wrong thread title. Gains seem to be similar to adding a timing adjuster or so. Everyone w/ evey brand seems to be happy with their purchase.

i actually purchased and installed my T/B and Plenum prior to the article coming out... reading the outcome just validated my choice in purchasing ACCUFAB over the others...I haven't had my car 'tuned' yet, so I'm unsure of what type of gains I have, but there is definetly a difference in feel over stock...

I actually installed one last week. I am using my stock throttle body at the moment. The horsepower gain is subtle in my opinion, but I could definitely notice a difference. It seems like the car spools up faster than it used to.

We have been having a lot of rain where I live, so I really haven't been able to get on the throttle yet. I was really impressed with the quality of the unit as well.

Sorry...I got the Accufab polished intake. The only complaint I had with it was that I had to use 2 small washers on the IAC valve bolts, since the plenum was not threaded deep enough to accomodate the stock bolts.

I sent accufab an e-mail about it, but haven't heard anything yet. Seems like a small fix for them...

That is precisely the problem I ran into as well... I happened to have another bolt that fit, so I used that instead...same thing....no response from Accufab for me either. :notnice:

maybe extra washers....they come with everything else supplied...ie gaskets etc...it looks GREAT after completion!..

The Accufab is supposed to come w/ shorter bolts for mounting the IAC and the TPS sensor (even if you didn't order a t-body). If you didn't get them, then either call Accufab, or head to the hardware store.

I've had my C&L plenum for months now. I love it. Its not a CRAZY bolt on, but when used with a MAF, TB, it is supposed to give you about 7rwhp. The accufab posted the most gain with about 8.5 rwhp. The Dragon plenum was supposed to make the least.
