Magnaflow and Bassani both make good components and sound similar. Bassani being a little higher in price. IMHO borla is to expensive and I really don't like the sound, but that's just me. And then there is Flowmaster. If you want to be different and don't want a headache, don't get flows. Flowmaster :nonono: I know I am going to get flamed on that one :(

Not by me you won't. Those things are such a pain. Sure they sound great outside but if you want to listen to your radio or carry on a conversation then they are deffinitely not for you. I recently put a solid axle on my Cobra and with that, the stock exhaust from the car I swapped with went on as well. It's a great relief and now I am saving for a Bassani X and a Bassani Cat Back. The Bassani sounds excellent both inside and outside and there is no resonance inside the car (unlike Flowmasters which sound like a herd of angry cows yelling in your ear)

This is just my opinion though.

Here are a couple of clips of Bassani on various Cobras.

My best advice is to find someone locally and listen to their setup. The clips are ok, the feedback and reviews are helpful, but as you'll soon find many people have different tastes.

Each Cat-back will produce it's own unique sound. From Borla, Dynos, Flows, Bassani to MACs, etc... believe me, you'll be much happier once you've heard them in person before deciding on which to go with.

Of course, I'm a little bias and I would tell you to go with the Borlas. But again IMO, you'll want to hear a few in person before making your decision.

Good Luck w/your search.

I loved my flowmasters when I had my catted H-pipe, it sounded really good then...not so much now with the o/r x-pipe and long tubes...it's much more raspy and sounds like a can of rocks...I wish that hooker had an h-pipe alternative I could put on there cause I think it would sound really good with the long tubes...
