happy early birthday mike. kids too. i know all about the busy schedule between work and family. my daughter turns 8 may 20th. julia starting school this september? just wait, you'll get to help with homework and projects more and more as they get older too. powershifting is probably my best bet right now. how about sidestepping while i powershift. :D

I've never been comfortable with side stepping, maybe i'm a puss but I blew up one clutch & I'd rather not repeat the feat. Besides I doubt the tranny would stand up to it again & that was when I had a measly 197RWHP :p:D :bs: I have issues with all my clutches it seems:shrug: I tend to think it's my driving but there may be something else going on...I dunno.
Anyway like I said ... I'd power shift the 1-2 & 3-4 shifts & cut the best light you can & see what happens:nice:

Thanks for the Birthday wishes, same to your little one. I can definatly say I like being "daddy" but they can wear you out :owned:

I see no point in side stepping..., If you guys would do like 25thmustang says and powershift every gear you'd be in the 12's easy. I always powershift when i run. Your gonna cut probably a tenth off for every gear you powershift. What are you running for air pressure in your ET Streets? i had a 1.70 60 foot with stock suspension on slicks. Launch the hell out of it and powershift... if you want to go fast

I thought so too but when you launch at 5000 or so, the pedal is only about 2/3 of the way down... The best way would be a two step, but without one I feel putting it to the floor and dumping it when it hits the right RPM would be the closest to a two step!

You ain't lying man. I love my 2 step. Yes, launching talking about works great. Just takes a little more effort to blast the tree to hell.
