All of you '04 GT owners. Does your car have the "GT" badge on the trunk lid? All the one's I've seen have them but mine doesn't. I got the 40th badges on the side like everyone else, but no "GT" on the trunk.

Definately have a "GT" model cause both the paperwork from Ford and the VIN both say it's a GT, not to mention the big a$$ magnaflow tips poking out of the bumper cutouts :D

I know my ID says USMC03GT, but that's a long story

I'd ask the dealership what happened to it..

My 04 GT has the "GT" on the back.

Could it be a build issue? When I had the 03 Expedition, there were two distinct series -- the ones built before June 03 and the ones built after.

Could be a build issue...I saw an 04 F-150 the other day that was an XLT and had an STX sticker on one side of the bed :rlaugh:

Yes, my magnaflows came stock
Seriously, the stock exhaust lasted the trip home from the dealer.

I don't think there was a gt badge to begin with. The dealer "ad" sticker was put on where the gt was supposed to be. Maybe the dealer pulled off the badge for their sticker, but I doubt it.

Going back to the dealer is out of the question, they're about 800 miles away. Had to pick the car up there because that's the only dealer the military sales could deliver to with the options I bought with the car. BTW, yes it was a new car.

I don't really care about the badge, I think it looks better without it. I was just wondering if anyone else's was like that.

To sum up the story, what started out as an 02GT turned into an 03 Mach1 then turned into an 03 GT which turned into an 04 mach1 which turned into an 04 GT. I can thank stop loss for most of this. :flag:

Sorry about the avitar I'll change it.
