Help! Brake swap -> 01 GT to 95 V6

you will need to shave the spindle ever so slightly. otherwise its bolt and go. i have some on my 94gt but they braking components are the same.

the 94-98 have single piston calipers and the 99+ are twin piston. the only mustang with 4 piston calipers are the 2000 Cobra R's

They are pretty much gonna be the exact same size, but the 99+ models has 4 piston calibers to the 98 and unders 2 piston.

I think...

You really wont notice any difference I dont think.

2 piston calipers are an improvement over single piston calipers. Pressure is even on both sides and keeps the pad from warping which causes major brake fade and warpage.

2 cents if it helps to look at all options ... When I upgraded my 01 v6 brakes to 13" I then took the 2 piston (01's) from that car and put them on my 96 V6(replacing the single piston) Everything was a direct bolt up except The Brake line had to be adapted at the point where the hard line meets the flex line behind the strut toward the top of the fender well. The existing banjo bolts were bigger and won't go into the 2 piston calipers.
