I just bought a 2004 GT with a Mach 460 Sound system. Apperantly it is XM satellite compatable and I see there is a "Aux" button on the stereo. Is there a harness I need to buy and where can I get one. I can't find any info on the 04's and the dealership doesn't seem to know anything about the stereo. Does anybody have any info on how I can attach inputs to this baby so i can run an mp3 player?

Thanks in advance

I have an 04 GT with the MACH 460 "satellite radio capable" system. All it means is you have buttons that will control a satellite radio tuner. The dealer told me the satellite radio tuner and antenna installation will cost $499. I lauged.

I went to BestBuy and Car Toys. They don't have the one that will plug into the Ford MACH 460 system. All they had were the ones that will play through your FM radio.

I don't know about the aux inputs though. And from what I've seen and read so far, the Ford systems are set up to tie into the Sirius satellite radio, not XM.

Blitzsafe has a harness in the works that will allow Aux inputs for the 04 Mach 460 that is XM compatible. With this you will be able to hookup whatever audio you want. Check out their site.

Although Ford is set up for Sirius, you can get a direct XM input and display on your 04 Mach 460 with this XM tuner. It's on pre-order, not in stock yet.

That would be cool, except for this part "Does not work with vehicles that have changers". The MACH 460 in my 04 GT (and probably most 04 Mustangs) have the 6 CD in dash changer.

EDIT: But they have this one! Sirius Add on
