Does the Base TWEECER give real time feedback?

I am looking into a tweecer, the RT seems a bit too exspensive for me. So I found a base Tweecer at a good price. If i hook it up to a computer and run the car will it show me all engine parameters, like RPM, and other things (see pic) http://www.tweecer.com/images/calmon2.jpg

I really need to be able to change my fuel curve because I am running too lean at times. Will the base tweecer do this? What else can the base model do? Thier website has very minimal info on the base model :( see for yourself. http://www.tweecer.com/tweecer.htm

You need the RT model for datalog. The base model will allow you to modify all of the EEC parameters, but you cannot log them. Either buy the RT model, or take your car to a dyno shop with wideband and tune it with the base model (or a custom chip from the dyno operator) there.

BTW: Even with the RT model of the tweecer, you will have difficulty getting your air/fuel right without using a wideband O2 sensor because the stock sensors are basically rich/lean switches which will not provide much information outside of indicating whether you are above or below stoich.

I have a Tweecer RT myself and it works fine with my A9L computer. The nice thing about it is the USB interface so you don't have to keep pulling it out of the car to reprogram it.

I would like to get a wideband, but not just yet. I don't have a laptop, so I'll have to remove the chip everytime I program it on my desktop pc?

not if your pc is a short distance from your car. I forget what the max. length for a usb cable is...can't remember. if you have a powered (plugs into the wall for power) usb hub, the distance you can go is probably further.

I'd need something like a 100ft usb cable to reach my car in the driveway, lol I could use maybe 25ft if I park my car on the lawn right next to my window. taking the chip module out shouldn't be a problem, I can always bring the computer to the car, it's not that big at all, and I have an LCD
