I'm getting my gears installed on monday and am going to use amisol gear oil. What weight do i need and how much of it?

75W-140 I believe, there should be a tag on the diff stating the proper lube

Don't forget the friction modifier! I don't care if it says you don't need it, trust me, you do. go without it and you'll see why.

Well, I've got some Amsoil 75w-90 for my rear differential change. Now, this makes me wonder if I should get some 75w-140 or not.

I just put 75 W 90 amsoil in my rear end and friction modifier also. Including what I got all over myself and the floor I used 2qts and 4oz of modifier. by the way refilling the reaend is a PITA

make it easy on yourself. Goto Lowes or Home Depot and get a 2 foot section of clear tube you can put over the top of the bottle and in the dif
