Thats a very difficult question, subjective to opinion......What looks good on imports paint, may not look as good on domestic paint. I personally care about 10 different brands, each job may require a different approach. I have heard great things about Megs Tech wax, it sounds like a winner, although durability may be an issue.....Maybe an additional layer would be beneficial......I use Blackfire, Platinum, Klasse, Wolfgang, Poorboys, ColorX, S100, and several others....Keep in mind, sealants arent waxes, and waxes arent sealants....So your question is limited to "waxes"......

I have started to use NXT for the final wax over the #7 and cleaner. The NXT does a great job on all colors but really well on darker colors. I have a black car and i think this is the best its looked.

Of course opinions are like -------- we all have one.

"exceldetail" - makes a great point. It's very subjective.

I use Poorboy's EX (sealant) and p21s (wax). IMO - it's one of the best combinations out there. Actually, I've started using more & more of the Poorboy's line of products and simply love them.

03veloce - that's a great reflection/shine ya got there! Very nice snake :nice:

I was just curious what waxes you guys use ans how satisfied you are with the results. Right now i use Meguiars NXT and it's pretty good. WHat do you guys think is the best wax?

Everyone has a different set of criteria that they use to determine what is "best". It is rare that any two people have the same set of criteria and circumstances. What are you looking to achieve with your paint and how much time and money are you willing to spend? These are the most important considerations that you need to take into account first.

I have a black lighting and a black gt and Meguiars Gold Class works great on both. My gt in in need of a paint job, but after I put the Meguiars on it looks brand new. It provides a very deep mirror finish.

most people have been right so far. its not as subjective as it is situational. For my 95 black car, everything had to be perfect or I would get swirrels and scratch marks. basically you want to start with a really clean car, and a fresh slate. Wash your car with dawn soap(do this few and far between, that stuff can get harmful), if your paint is in good shape, use a glaze, both mothers and mequiars make a very good glaze. If you use mequairs make sure you use the professional line, less fillers and more actual product. Follow the glaze up with a very good hardshell wax. Ie Zymol, Mothers california gold paste, or mequairs pro line i think its #27. You will love the results. :nice:
