I just got back from the shop that installed the pulley's and there was smoke coming from under my hood as I pulled into my driveway...

I got out, lifted the hood and steam came gushing out and there was coolant was dripping from the center of the car (not radiator or any hoses) I couldn't exactly tell where it was coming from cuz I simply don't have time, I started my car back up and the coolant light was on, I checked the reservoir but it was were it should be...I have to rush off to work so I can't investigate....

What should I look for, and what could be the problem?

Anyone have any issues like this before?

Help! :(

whoever changed your pullies probobly beat the water pump pulley back on with a hammer and screwed up the seal start at your water pump if thats not it than you'll have to take a deeper look. Good luck dude. My advice buy a cr rom service manual and start learning to do all your work yourself so you know it's done right, plus theres no better feeling than when you finish a job thats work a few pounds of torque and some hp.

look on e-bay or you could call a local dealer to find out where they would suggest to find one. Just dont buy one from them you will pay triple what most people would want. Also an old school but a proven manual is a chilton guide. You can pick up a chilton at most auto parts stores. I think there great but alot of people are going to cd rom. Did you check your water pump then?

Also check your coolant crossover tube, where it enters your heads. Just let the car run for a while, from the right angle you can easily see if the coolant is exiting there...don't ask why I suggest inpecting this (long story)
