anyone try to put edelbrock shocks on the front of their 67. Is it just my car or is there a clearance problem at the top end , also I had to remove the little crossbar at the top of the shock to get it in ??????

You are correct, the Edelbrocks require a little bit of grinding on the shock cap on 67-73 Mustangs. They fit the 65-66 cars with no mods. I run the Road race version on my coupe, i've been very happy with them.

Like Billgear said, there is a little grinding you need to do, but not a big deal. My brother-in-law has them on his 69 Mach One (the vintage race tuned shocks) and he had it out on the track for the first time last month. I think he was real happy with them and I can say they look nice and beefy (I have Spax racing shocks and they look wimpy next to the Edelbrocks...).
