Where can I find this T-shaped bolt?

This came from the 8 inch rear on my 66. There are 4 on each side to hold the brake backing plate. One of mine was wrong and I'd like to get another. Any ideas where I could buy one. NPD does not carry them and the other large parts houses don't seem to list small parts like this.

Have you tried Napa? Currie would probably have it. Heck, I'll bet I've got one laying around, but I wouldn't know where to start looking for it.

Just substitute a grade 8 or 9 bolt in it's place. The only purpose of the "T" head was to facilitate removing the nut without a backup wrench.

I have a bunch of those....if you can't find one then send me an e-mail [email protected] and I will see if I can find them and mail you one....I wonder if they would allow it in a normal envelope?

But I'm leaving in the morning and won't be back till Monay evening.

ANother good option is to use the replacement battery bolts. They are much the same size and have similarly shaped heads on them. They worked out just fine on my 9"

Battery bolts are 5/16. Nine inch rears used either a 3/8 or 1/2 bolt here. Plus that battry bolt is a really soft bolt to boot. Ronstang, yes you can mail a bolt, I've done a couple here in the last month or two. Just have to bring it to the post office so they can get the postage right.
