Which gas should I use? 95 or 98 octane?

I know that you guys dont have that high octane levels in your gas. But here in Sweden we can choose between 95 and 98 octane. Now to my question.

Do you think that there is any difference between 95 or 98 octane?

unless you've advanced the timing at all, stick with 95. i am not sure if the mustangs they send to sweden are modded for higher gas or anything but if it doesn't ping with 95, use it.

They dont sell Mustangs in Sweden. My car came from Miami a couple of weeks ago. All Mustangs here come from US or Canada. So they are not modded for higher octane

They dont sell Mustangs in Sweden. My car came from Miami a couple of weeks ago. All Mustangs here come from US or Canada. So they are not modded for higher octane

if it's stock from the USA, it's set up for 87 octane...so you could run anything down to that octane rating.

I would get a timing adjuster (or tune) and bump my timing up to say 14 or 15 deg and run the 95

Remember there is a difference in the way octain is calculated between Europe and the US.
(I can't remember the formula and can't be assed to look it up so please don't ask).
95 Europe is roughly 89 US, and 98 Europe is roughly 91 US.
Use the lowest octain that allows the motor to run without detonation. Any more and you are just wasting your money and losing some power
