Doesn't that cause a lot of oversteer...I've got an extra 200lbs in my trunk because of all of the audio stuff, so it oversteers as it is

try 3 in the back.. you should be fine.

remember at the track if you ever do go. softest up front/stiffest in the rear.

btw. where in the bay are you?

thanks guys...I'll try bringing the backs up to 3s and the fronts to 5s and run that around town for the next couple weeks and see if I like it better.

yeah, when I'm on road courses I have a setup that works really well with the way I drive (2 in front and 5 in back)...but that's because I want to induce the oversteer so I can drift the rear end around the corners...I also tighten up the adjustable rear sway to help with that

I have the tokicos and h&r SS springs. I have it set to 5 on all 4 corners. Because of the drop I ended up with, the x brace under my K-member srcapes everything because there is like barely and inch of ground clearance left. On the bayarea freeways you don't want your mustang dippin' because you're likely to rip out the k-member on the asphault that sometimes stick up. I.E highway 680 north in pleasanton area. if you hit a dip with 5 setup on all corners you will fair better. I actually liked the 3F and 4R because it gave such a nice ride, but I had to change it. now I'm left looking for more clearance without changing springs. Maybe 18" wheels.

Wouldn't you want set the rear soft for drag too? I set all of them to 1 for the track, but that's basically to band-aid fix my anti-weight transfer H&R SS springs.

What do you all think is the best combo to minimize the scraping and maximize the ride quality while cruising?
My car is purely a street car. I have mine set at 1 all the way around. Even at 1, the ride is still firm and handles great. But I guess that makes me the wimp of the group...
