Have this wierd electrical problem with a 99Gt 4.6 engine in a rod. When the key is turned on the dash cluster does not light up right away but takes 15 seconds before the gauges and odometer turn on. The Pats is fine as I can start the engine right away even if the dash is not coming on. This just started doing this the other day. Nothing has been changed and it ran fine before with no delay in the dash. I have checked all the grounds and plugs and everything seems fine. If anyone has any ideas as to what is wrong I would really appreciate help with this problem. Thanks guys.

Do all the needles sweep from one side to the other before the cluster comes to life? You might have a problem with the memory feed. That's the constant 12v circut that keeps the KAM alive in the cluster module.

The needles do nothing until the 15 secs are up, then the voltgauge goes up and the temp if engine warm. Thanks for the help. Would have responded sooner but was out of town. Anything I could check to fix this?
