Just got car back from Tim!!! 14 rwhp 24 rwtq!!!!!

He already had a high flow xpipe...14rwhp and 24TQ is a good gain over a Catted magnaflow pipe..His clutch is slipping real bad..My guess is he is down 5-6rwhp from that.We had a hard time geting a good run on the car because of it..
The torque jumped way up when i added timing down low along with fuel.

I'm fixin to get headers and a x-pipe, so how much HP gain should I expect to get with a good clutch.

by the way, i lost a clutch @ 2600 miles, maybe a factory defect, but i couldn't get mine fixed under warranty, had to pay a little over $600 to get it fixed

mods are in the sig starkie.
Wait, dont most Gt's dyno close to 225-230rwhp stock? So you only gained so you only gained ~25-30rwhp with tb and intake, pullies, t/a, full exhuast and all of the other mods? That seems kinda crappy to me for some reaosn. Not putting ur car down or anything, im just confused.

Cobra Killer, Do you have any openings to do a dyno tune or is an appointment necessary? I will be driving from New Orleans to you to get my PI headswapped high compression blown and water injected car tuned. Also I have a set of 30lb injectors should that be enough for my less than 400 to the wheels? How much am I looking at for the tune?

Send him a PM :nice:

Smith I'm not sure the graph Tim gave me did not have the weather conditions on it. Thanks for the support deadlurker. HoustonGT, you have got to realize these are real world numbers I am talking about not over inflated manufacture claims nor over inflated STD dyno numbers. Many people on the internet over rate their numbers a bit. It just suprises me that I am almost making the stock crank rated hp and tq at my rear wheels with just bolt-ons and people keep saying that its low power.

Good point, but i hope that your numbers really go up when you get your clutch fixed. Im gonna say baout 265rhwp and 315rwtq after you ge tit fixed and if you dyno on a day hen its not hot and humid. Let us know what happens :nice:

Thanks HoustonGT, I hope they go up also. I will have to wait about 2 to 3 months, but I will get it fixed. I am getting married July 3 so all extra money now is going to trying to furnish the house we just bought. My girlfriend/soon to be wife said as soon as we get a new bedroom suit that she will help me get the clutch fixed. I have all the credit she makes all the money. :bang:

Guys, his clutch is a joke in the car..Graph is jumpy and on decel it raises hell...Give the guy a break. He's just excited the car is driving good for him finally..

Fwiw, these were all back to back hot runs..We did it chasing the coil pack issuse..Im sure once the clutch is replaced he'll see around 360rwhp..We actually got a 360rwhp run out of it but it was cold..To me ,those aren't real numbers..The real numbers are off the hot runs..

:) I know how you feel. I put off getting a Mustang for 4 years due to major house renovations. Now(well actually after 2 years) the major house renovations are complete and I have my Mustang(along with a few other items :) ). What kind of clutch are you going to buy? Spec Stage 1?

On the 360rwp post..... Tim get some sleep!!!!!!
