Ok I think I'm ready to fix this dang fan after 3-4 years of it not working

As long as I'm driving it and not being parked very long it never bothers me so that is why I really haven't messed with it. Anyways does anyone know where the ground wire for the fan is? I want to ground it out to check if the motor is good but can't find it. My SVO is way easy to find but the weird intake design on the DP 2.3L I guess has it located somewhere else. Also does anyone have any other ideas on how to figure out my small problem

Thanks

When my fan went I tested it with a 9.6 volt cordless drill battery and two small jumper wires without removing it from the car just unplugged it. I would recommend connecting one of the jumpers to the fan and both to the battery and just touching the prong on the fan motor with the other jumper.

Thanks, that is kinda what I have in mind if I can't find that ground wire. What else is there you test if the fan cuts on after running a wire to the battery ? Sorry I never had stuff like this go out on me before :(

my fan on my 93 lx runs only when i have the AC on if not it shuts down, it's been like that since i bought it so i'm thinking the last owner did something to it.
Any suggestions ??
