Polishing my Draglites

I have draglites on my car and I wanna make them as nice and shiny as possible. What's the best type of polish I can get for these rims and where can I get it?

your local parts dealer. i tried them all and must say Mothers Alum/Mag polish works excellent. Just gotta but some effort into it.

yea I always used mothers and it workds really good. It takes a lil bit of elbow greese though. I usualy pull 1 wheel off at a time and clean em up real good.

Sometimes I use mothers mag and wheel but sometimes I use this stuff we lived by in the marine corps, its called "never dull" it works pretty damn well too but I think I am gonna have to use that mothers incredible billet stuff above. my draglites never look like his!!! lol

I did my convo pros last summer...my fingers hurt for a week! All those damn little rivets. I used Mothers as well...worked great. Has held up also, heres a pic from a few months ago.

Used Never Dull on the wing, it worked better than when i tried the Mothers....

Thanks guys. I went to kragen and got some mothers mag and alum polish. I'm gonna give it a try. My wheels aren't actually that dull at all, but i'd like to see them shinyer.

Blue Magic is also very effective if not better. I use both.

Mothers here too. I polish them around two to three times a year and keep my car very clean, including the wheels, all the time. I've found that if I wash the wheels regularly and then towel dry them (just like I do my car), polishing two or three times a year is plenty. Mine are three years old now and still look brand new. I hate to see a set of neglected, dull Welds. It's really not that hard to keep them looking new.

Once you polish them up, there is this stuff called zoop seal that is supposed to seal the shine in. Be warned, it is not cheap. I have never bought the stuff. It was too much for me.

make sure the clear coat is off your wheels first or your gonna scratch the crap outa those wheels. if it isn't off use some aluminum aircraft stripper on them, then you can polish them.

Draglites don't have a clear coat.................

The best for the tail pipes is Nevr-Dull .

...and for wheels that do have clearcoat, you would just wax them like you would the car's paint.
