Design concepts is part of cervini's ( or alot of people say ) there qualtiy is very good there just cheaper b/c they dont carry the cervini's name. Cervinis is the best you can get.

Im in the process of prepping my HO Fibertrends...got the 1 1/2 Cobra...paid 450.00 shipped...Hood is rugged to say the least...gel-coat was mint..maybe 20 minutes to prep it...very minor stuff...body guy was impressed with it..
I was in the same boat, which one...this dude makes the hoods for Ford..he manafactured the original Rs for the 95....

When i ordered my hood from design concepts i asked the sales rep about being a sister company to cervini's. He said they have nothing to do with them and that they are two completely different companies. He did mention that the area has a lot of boat manufacturing places and that is the reason there is a lot of hood companies in and around PA. They use the same concepts, technology, and materials in making the hoods as they do the boats..

Anyways I got my hood like 3 days after i ordered it. Cost me 400 bucks after shipping. The fitment was great... There were couple small places on the underside of the hood but the guy painting my car said it wouldn't take hardly anythign to fix them thats if I wanted to mess with them at all.

If you can handle dealing with a few minor imperfections... Just the bottom side on mine anyway then i think Design concepts is worth saving 80 bucks with...
