Any help would be great... I'm not in a very good mood right now :(

Will this be okay? It's not off that much.. I would probably get new c/c plate soon... but would like to see some input from you guys..

From what I can see all they did was adjust your toe in. They did't touch you camber, the .04 change in camber would be from changing the toe. Take it back or go somewhere else, they should be able to do better than that. Depending on how much you want to bring your camber back you may have to get c/c plates, but should be able to get it close without them.

I'd definetly get some c&c plates. My ford probe that i lowered didn't have camber kit or anything on it and it pulled all over the road, despite 3 alignments. :( if its driving good and straight down the road, leave it alone untill you get enough money for it. Watch your tire wear though. Just the front, they couldn't align anything in the rear so it shouldn't be too hard to look for :)

yea the tech said the car runs straight and everything.. it's just almost 2 degrees off and that I'm going to see some tire wear.. anyhow, i would probably get the c/c plate in near future.. it's not that hard to install anyhow..

My thread on this went no where lol.

For an extended time, yes you will have problems with your setup. For a short time, simply watch your tires BIG TIME!!! My front right is almost bald on the outside edge. tire pressure is fine. It isnt toe since the other side shows no signs. This is also the same side I hear noise from after my springs/bushing/c/c plate install. I dont know if its a coincidence or not.

Some help for you... its really hard for an alignment shop to adjust caster/camber without the c/c plates. Honestly about all they can adjust is toe in a stock setting. It is fairly difficult to adjust c/c on a stock c/c equiped stang. They can do a little here or there, but nothing what they can do with c/c plates. Once you get c/c plates you will have a lot more adjustability to your set up :nice:

Hope this helps you some.

Yes. I'm surprised it's not pulling with the difference in your camber left to right. The insides of your tires will wear the quickest. When I first lowered my car my camber was at -1.4 and they brought it back to -.9 without plates. I ended up getting plates this year though because I wanted to increase my castor.

No problem.. :nice: Looks like you car is coming along nicely. When you get the 18's it's going to look sweet :nice:

Its not just you, I heard and felt a lot more road noise/road vibrations that I had with the stock setup. Its not a huge difference, but it is noticable.
Im heading to the shop tomorrow am to have them look and see if anything on my install is whacky to try and fix my hesitating steering wheel and slight moan. I hope its something easy, I dont want to trouble shoot the freaking rack and pinion :bang: :bang: :bang:
The price we pay to mod lol :D

I went 1.5 months waiting for my springs to settle before I bolted in the C/C plates. The first shop, using a computer/lazer set up, said it was right on the money when they finished. It was pulling to the right within 3 weeks. I took it to [email protected] and they have an old manual rack. They made several adjustments and drove it 4 times. 6 months later still perfect and no unusual tire wear.

Oh ya I forgot to mention..

Goodyear = teh lose :notnice:

Don't ask me why.. I would get more pissed.. :bang:

DOH!!! I knew I forgot something... You will probably need another alignment after you c/c install. Forgot to tell you last time.

I figure the tires arent helping me any. I plan on some Nitto 555R's in a few months :nice: I was just going with stock size to fit my stock rims. I like the ol bullitt rims :D. Can I go up in size any or should I stick with the current dimentions :shrug:

Yup I know that I will need another alignment for sure.. but the current tires I have only has 4400 miles on it... so I'm not worry about them that much..

No. You can't adjust caster/camber on Mustangs. Look at your stock plates, they DO NOT move. You must buy aftermarket c/c plates.

Contrary to what some more anal folks will tell you, it is quite possible to achieve a good alignment with a lowered car without expensive aftermarket Caster/Camber plates.......

I had a terrible negative camber after my spring install. here's my #'s

Before camber with upper OEM plate maxed out to +:
left = -1.9 right = -2.5

After camber with NAPA Camber bolt kit installed:
left = -.04 right = -.04

Part #'s for the bolts are 264-3638, you'll need two, about $20 each

You're welcome.. :D
