I've always wanted to try something different with my 77 Cobra that was sold late in 77 and had 78 tricolor stripes. I wondered what the blue or green stripes would look like on a black car. My car was originally red/orange/yellow on black.
Special thanks goes to Myblack78cobra. :nice:
He sent me some great pics of his 78 Cobra for me to use in Photoshop. I am no expert at Photoshop and it took me a LONG time to get these done. I'm still working on the tricolor green. I have the file saved where the different colors are on different layers. Still need to get the hoodscoop done.

A friend of mine and I were checking out some II's a guy was selling about 2 years ago. We looked inside one of the cars and there was a black door with the blue tri-colour stripes on it, it looked really cool. They should have made them from the factory that way. My '78 Cobra II is also the red-orange-gold combo. Can't wait to get her finished. :D

WOW!!! :D Awesome to see those different colors on my car. That grey really looks subtle and sweet. I've mentioned this to others, but I have a freind in the decal bussiness that can reproduce that kit in any color requested. he's already done the measurements and preliminary layout, but heres the catch, because its a three color silk screen process with a clear coat, the set up and screens are what cost so much. To make it reasonable, I would need at least 15-20 orders to keep the cost down. If we could get a company to sponsor this and sell them, then maybe they could be ordered 1 at a time. Once the setup is paid for, the cost of producing them is small. Those custom colors would awesome and another choice for our Cobra's instead of the earlier stripe package.
