Another check engine

Hi, I have one more question regarding the check engine light. I had the codes pulled and it said p1443. I figured out what that was, which was Emission Ctrl System Ctrl Valve. i have no idea where that is. Can anyone help me? Thanks Again

i believe that is the evaporative emissions control valve number. there is a little valve, i think its a dealer ony item. what year is your stang? this is very common on 1996 stangs.

Its located right in the pic i attached. some years its a silver little box. some years its a black little box. it has 3 hoses coming off of it

i currently get that to click my CEL but it gos away i notice it only comes on when i drive on the freeway. i can drive around town all i want it wont come on

Ford sells the part for $79 i dunno if its worth it since it doesnt affect my cars performance at all

I have a 1998 Mustang gt. Is the part hard to replace. Or should I try to tackle it? Thanks also is would a parts store carry that piece?

its really easy to replace. i think its dealer olny but napa might carry them.
