I just thought I would share my experience thus far with the Diablo Predator Tuner. The unit arrived yesterday and I couldn't wait to turn off my 02 Sensor. The manual should be read before installing any tune but it is really straight forward.

Follow the prompts on the screen to load your original tune in the unit and then you can install the custom tune. I then installed the Performance Tune after modifying a few parameters.

I shut off the 02 sensor by following the directions in the manual. You have to turn off 5 things to get the light off forever.

I then upped the Shift firmness for 1-2 shift and the 2-3 shift. I put both of these values to 50 (max is 130).

I have to say that the car ran good this morning and the 1-2 shift got a good 1 foot chirp. I will play with this a little more but for now I am satisfied. My gears are going in this weekend and I will then correct the ratio to 4.10s.

This is just my personal experience.

I turned off the following per instructions:

OBDII EGR = Turn EGR on/off, ONLY USE WHEN REMOVING THE EGR

To Set OBD-II setting for no rear 02’s -Turn all of the following parameters to “OFF” position:
OBD-II MIL
OBD-II Test
Heater bank 1 downstream
Heater bank 2 downstream
O2 Sensor Config

You can probably do it another way but I turned all these off. It worked fine and no more check engine light.
