Dr. Gas ranks right up there as one of the best performing aftermarket midpipes. The power debate about "cats Vs no cats" is pretty much non-existant thanks to today's high quality catalytic converters (naturally aspirated engines).
I've herd plenty of people say that the Bassani cats usually die/clog in a year or less and if they ever hit anything(speed bump) they die. I haven't herd any good or bad things about the magnaflow x-pipe yet though.
Personally I am going with a catted pipe because the 1/2 hp you get from no cats isn't worth the polution/risk of getting a ticket.
What did u mean by the bassani cats dieing out???? Im not familiar with that term? anyway, I have had on my car for 4 years now, no problems at all, no leaks, no weird noises, no ground clearance problems even with a 2inch drop. nothing but awsome sound and that sweet sotp power
