Need help with exhaust tip install...SLP tips

Guys i bought a set of SLP style exhaust tips, but they dont have hangers on them. So what i was thinking was that I could have the muffler shop cut the hangers off of the stock tailpipes and then have them welded to the SLP tips? would this be able to happen? i called ford and they want 40 buck for the two hangers, no way. Any help or ideas would be great.

Don't see why it wouldn't work. The factory stock hangers are welded on the stock tips. Try to weld the hangers in such a way that they're not that visible.

Yeah just make sure they get welded on the inboard side of the pipe.
