Will it fit a GT's 2V motor??? Does anyone know what all it will fit?? Also what are they worth if you get the Kenne Bell upgrade and sell the old one???

Don't think so, at least not as a direct bolt-on me thinks. You'll need the manifold and I'm not sure that would work since it's designed for 4v heads. Even if it did work, there is a BOAT LOAD of additional parts required and it would not be worth the time and effort required to adapt the 03/04 Cobra's Eaton to work on a 2v GT.

They aren't worth much because there really isn't that big of a market for 'em! Kind of hard to sell the blower all by itself like that without all the other required parts. Manifold, Intercooler, Heat exchanger, etc all get re-used in the KB installation. Who wants to buy a bare M112? The only people in the market for a M112 would be those guys who want to keep their stock M112 and have a 2nd one to send out for porting.

Thats kinna what I figured... preciate the info.. BTW, how many h.p.'s does the porting of the Eaton give... is it a good move? I was thinkin about doing it cause my car seems to be doing DAMN good for the mods it has...

It varies depending on what additional mods you have and how much boost you're pushing. Some people see great results, others not so great. It seems to be hit and miss.

hhhmmm... explain.. for instance my car has a pully, chip, CAI, tensioner, exhaust, and a GordsFord heat exchanger... according to your research would it hit or miss... btw, thanks for the help...

I’m having mine done as we speak. I’ll post some results in two weeks. See al my mod’s in the signature. :nice:

P.S. I hit 460hp and 481tq on the dyno with current setup, I'm looking for 500/530.

Well you see it depends. Apten was using a specific style of porting when they first offered the service. Many people saw upwards of 40RWHP gains when using one of the Apten ported Eaton’s coupled with a 2.80 pulley. Now it appears as if Apten is porting the M112 a little differently and some people feel the results aren't as good. There are a couple threads over on SVTPerformance.com about this very subject. There are also 3 or 4 other businesses who are currently offering port jobs for the Eaton. When I said it was hit or miss, I meant just that! You could have two identically modded Cobra's and one may see a 20RWHP gain from the port job and the other could see 40RWHP! There is just no guarantee the port job will always give X amount of HP.

Technically, the M112 Eaton will fit any 4.6L engine with 99+ DOHC heads on it...but on the the other side, all the other things you would need to make it work such as a new timing cover, new accessory brackets, yadda yadda yadda wouldn't make it worth it...Someone would be better off getting a Vortech or Procharger and make just as much power with those...There's nothing special about that Eaton, it's the engine that it's on top of that makes things special...

Remember too that Apten was sold to from some guys here in St Louis to some guys in Cincinatti and I'm pretty sure the place that ported the blowers before here in St Louis doesn't do it anymore for Apten now that they are in Cincy...might be why they are ported differently now...

I wish I could find a diagram on the internet or somethin... before I send my stuff off I atleast like to see whats fixina be done.. hogging this dude out like that wouldn't cause it to lose boost would it???

Well if the person doing the porting doesn't know what they're doing.... I guess they could mess up the case tolerences and cause a problem with the rotors sealing correctly...

They do open up the inlet as stated above and they also open up the port on the bottom of the Eaton where the compressed intake charge exits the blower and enters the intercooler .

They have one of the best websites out there. Check them out at www.rpmoutlet.com and you can see how they port the blower. They carry lots of other stuff for the 03 cobra too. :nice:

What I like about their website is they have taken the time to separate all the mods by make and model of the car, so you don’t need to sift through 5.0 parts for example that wouldn’t work for a 03 cobra. Also they have killer package deals with deep discounts if you mod in bulk. :D
