today at the cruise i got pics of many 05s and a GT-40! pics inside

Well, its the downriver cruise here in Michigan on Fort st. about 20 minutes outside of detroit. It goes through Wyandotte, Southgate, etc...

I'm going out again but I wanted the share the pics I've got so far.... I haven't went through any of them I just wanted to get them up as soon as possible.

i did get to see it drive by a little bit too, the basturd driver (car dealer) was driving it too gentle.... and he drove it into the burn out pit, got a HUGE cheer and then pussied out and drove out at like 2mph ...

but it sounded nice for an idle...

yeah... i know, it was a conscious decision. For one thing, it eliminates confusion with the mustang gt, and also, i just think its such a better name.... the history for one thing, and its more original too. any non-car person hears the term GT way too often, its not distinctive enough for them. they won't associate it with the really sweet car that it is.
stupid guy who bought the name. its kinda funny to think that you can own a name, and that it can be worth as much as like, 5 houses. imagine trying to explain that one to someone growing up in a developing country....

anyways, i'm dying to hear that car. you guys heard about it hitting 205mph right?

That 10 liter boss is one of my favorite mustangs ever. Can't believe you got to see it. There are only two, I think the other one is yellow.

Check all of the images, I posted a close-up of all the Boss 429 specs.... it is a 10 liter w/10.5:1 compression 855hp and 790lbs/ft torque and it has a "modified" 3speed C6 trans

note the 315 tires out back -- sweet
i dont know if i believe the 0-60 but this is what it says...

0 - 60 mph - 1.9s
0 - 100 mph - 5.5 s
1/4 mile - 10.55s @ 135.05 mph

It's a Boss 429 but its been bored and stroked to 604ci (10 liters). They wanted it to be twice the displacement of a 302. I remember when that car was featured in MM&FF a few years back.
