Fox body springs installed...before and after pics

I got my fox body springs in this weekend. 4cyl springs in front and V8 springs in rear cut 1/4 coil. drop was about 1.5 inches in front and 1 inch in back. took it out to test handling....around turns its the same as stock, felt identical to stock all the way up to about 110, i didnt want to go any faster. When I launch the front end comes up a LOT more than stock, also when I downshift into second geara and go full throttle the front end flys right up. Only complaint would be slightly more nose dive when braking hard. They should settle a little, theyve only been on less than one day. Heres pics...

First pic is before...second is after...sorry for poor quality pic was taken with my phone, i will post better pics later.

Nice Ryan. :nice: Finally someone who doesn't slam it down into the weeds.
RE: Weight transfer - I guess that's the tradeoff you get - if you want the weight transfer for takeoffs, you're also gonna get it when braking as well. Maybe some better struts would help this?

Yeah...I am getting Strange 10 way adjustable struts. So hopefully when set for street driving they help that out. If not, its really not that bad.

I've been looking forward to your pics. Looks great! I posted a question about fox springs last week, and I think you helped me decide. Fox springs it is.

stock fox springs? or aftermarket lowering fox springs?

if thats stock then i just figured out how to put my car down on its proverbial "nuts"

The lowering springs are for all '79 to '04 coupe(except '99+ cobra's),and different part # lowering springs are for the '79 to '04 convertables(except '99+ cobra's)

Nothing on the suspension end of it is different through out these years.Still the same spring set up style, and rear four link control arm set up!! :D

Just the ride height got taller once the sn95's hit production :nonono: .

You guys seam to talk about a much improved front-to-back weight transfer with a close to stock lateral weight transfer. How can this be possible? Won't a 99+ GT with fox body springs litterally handles like a boat? It's relatively heavier than a fox body stang.
