I reused my lifters when I installed my cam. The motor had 125k on it or so. If they werent tapping Id give it a try.

lifters

I re-used mine at 80,000 miles and also my buddy re-used his after 105,000. You should do the bleed down test and press down on the top of the lifter where the pushrod sits and see if it can be pushed down. My buddy goes by the rule "if you can put a decent amount of force on it and it stays solid, then the lifter is good, as long as it wasn't ticking when the car ran" This is the same rule I go by, if the lifter can be depressed then get new ones, they cost about seven bucks each, try to check them soon after the motor is dissassembled so they are still primed.
