Today I received from UPS my Maganflow cat back. It took me about 2.5 hours to install.

The sounds is great. Just the right growl that I was looking for - not too loud, not to soft.

The look is great. The exhaust tips looks awesome.

The power increase is great. I set myself up for low expectations, but I've been pleasently surprised. SOTP tells me its like 10 HP, maybe more. The engine pulls better in mid range than before which is exactely what I was hoping for.

I have no experience with other brands, but I would highly recommend this set up to anyone.

In summary: Sound :nice: Looks :nice: Performance :nice:

Congrats on the purchase, but which cat-back did you go with the 'Flows or the 'Packs? Since I am sure your "Tech question" is how does it sound with a Pro-Chamber? The answer is better than anything else I have heard, IMO. The sound is alittle more distinct in the fact that it is more exotic and not as raspy. Plus, if you have the Packs with the Pro-Chamber you have potential to get some really sweet flames to kick out of the tailpipes after the Packs get warmed up. I have had this happen to me about 6 times and it is a crowd pleaser!

I went with the Maganflows and not Maganpacks.

I'm done with the exhaust for now. I'm thinking of a mod on the intake side now. Something like a CNL plenum and K&N filter.

2.5 hrs? Do you guys have lifts or somethhing...I got an 03 GT and just started the install today...it took like 1.5 hrs just to put the car on jack stands on all four corners...thats counting trying to remove one rear wheel to get better clearance to work on that side (appearantly I overtightened a lug nut and wrech was too big and we brok 3 ratchets and still couldnt get it off)....sawing the muffler took a crap load of time and the hangers were a small PITA..so basically we just got the driver's side off lol...anyway any tips on aligning the system...Im sure since I got the stang on jack stands it'll be a diff story once its on the wheels...im hopin I can align it so that i dont have to jack it up again :)

Interesting...must be a good week for the magnaflow company. My magnapacks came in today as well. It says to start frontwards and work backwards leaving everything hand tight to adjust and align.

BTW usa1...I would recommend the volant or afe intake. I think both are top notch quality. K&N's are ok IMO. I think the filtration and quality could be better though.
