it's funny people always like you don't want a modded car cus it might be beat well look at your own cars who's gonna what them after you!

:rlaugh: that's exactly my point :rlaugh: I love my car but I do run the heck out of it. It's the only way to drive a stang...

And just so you know I only have one car. And eventhough I do beat on it, I take very very good care of my car. With that being said I didn't tell him not to buy it because it's modded just to get it checked out like every other used car should be. I don't know about you but I don't want to spend money on a car that will need repairs right after I purchase it. Now with all that said I'm glad I could clear my position up :D

My advice to you is this - when you go to buy a car, and you see a seemingly great car for a seemingly great price, you, as a buyer, have a tendency to say "OMG, what a deal, this is great, I have to buy this'. You get caught up in it and maybe don't see what's really going on.

It's like a chick. Let your brain make the decision, not your Johnson. Same here, listen to your brain, not your right foot. :) 99.99999% of the time, if the deal sounds too good to be true, that's because IT IS!!! And 17.9k for a supercharged Bullitt with low mileage seems like a VERY good deal, so if I were you, I'd be very careful.

With an aftermarket S/C installed, you really don't know what the hell has gone on in that car. Don't even touch the stereo on the test drive, listen for pinging, knocking, anything out of the ordinary. At the very least, you would be a total fool not to take the car to a mechanic you trust to look at it. You're talking about spending 17.9k on a car, so don't cheap out on a hundred bucks...HAVE A MECHANIC LOOK AT IT, especially since it's supercharged.

IF it checks out from the mechanic, and IF it's as good as it seems to be ... don't lowball the guy. On a deal that good, offering him 15 is a slap in the face. If you want it, and it's a great deal, be a man, put your money where your mouth is, offer him 17.5k, and drive it home.

This is not a mistake you want to make. At least if you do some whackass chick, you can kick her out of the sack the next morning, and hope none of your friends saw you leave together. Pretty hard to kick a 17 thousand dollar mistake out of your driveway. Good luck. :)
