anyone from Sotuh florida. I am moving 2 ft myers soon. Anyone know what state vehicle and traffic laws are different than NY?

I don't know the laws over their but i'm pretty sure they are about the same. We don't have emissions anymore so all that can be replaced. You can still get a ticket for no cats but aleast where i'm at they NEVER check our bother us about it.

how about window tint on front windows?

all i know is that radar detecotrs dont work down there. they supposedly have planes that fly real high and calculate your speed based on how long it takes you to get from one marker to the next./ way too sketchy for me

Tint is for the driver/pass side windows @35% max. You can paint the rest of the windows black as long as you have side mirrors.

Check out the "Anyone from Fort Myers" post in this forum.A whole lot of them on here.I think they are just being stubborn right now.Just throw a few stones at them.They'll wake up.

Oh yes,I am also from the Fort Myers area.Lehigh Acres actually.Right next door.If your going to move down here,be prepared.It's a whole new ballgame compared to NYC.I was from Michigan.For some things,the laws down here aren't quite as strict as they are up north.Lets just say most of these idiot head drivers get away with chit more than they should.And,speeding is the speed limit around here.If you even as much drive the speed limit,your ass is gonna get bit up by Imports and company vehicles......ok,you can still get busted for speeding though,and I don't condone breaking the law.Watch out for the state troopers and their many unmarked cars .well it's not bad down here.I wouldn't move back to Michigan though.Became way too used to the heat here.Also,there are no emission laws here.So that means no emission tests either.

Oh,one more thing.You really have to hit the beach at least once.If you go,you better take some kind of Anti-Viagra drug.
