Sub Enclosures

I'm having one built to my custom dimensions very soon. Once I get it I'll post some pics. In the mean time here is a diagram of the design: http://www.speakeasy.org/~darkwing/pics/t112_box.jpg

It's going to hold one of these: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-F3VVXPFrLne/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?i=575T112D4&search=t112d4

It will have a round port firing out the side and be tuned at 35Hz. Volume of the enlcosure (after displacement) will be 1.75 cu. ft.

I made one out of cardboard today to make sure I could get it in the trunk (96' Cobra) and it barely fit. I got the idea for the box from one I saw on ebay here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=14945&item=5712084476&rd=1

I currently have a sealed box and I can't wait to see how this ported box will sound. I know it will be louder and I will loose some quality/tightness in sound but that's ok with me. I'm mainly looking for more SPL at this point. Here's some pics of my current setup:
