Tell me more about the Mustangs you're "handing their asses" to.... In order to "hand" somebody their "ass", you've got to actually win a race. I'm not aware of anybody on this site having posted "SRT4 hands me my ass!!! Read on!!!". Having a chest puffing contest over who's 14-second car is quicker is like having a penis size contest and only needing to use a toothpick for a ruler. Ever hear of Napolean Complex?? It's fairly troll-ish to talk smack regarding 4-cylinders vs. 8 cylinders, when you've got to boost the bejesus out of your 4 little stovepipes just to get the car to a point where it offers what you could only classify as a mild thrill. My supercharged S351 runs high 11's on Z-rated radials with only 8 pounds of boost, through catalytic converters. When you get your peppy zippy little cutie-pie-"HI"-mobile down into that territory, call me and tell me how much dough it took to accomplish it with that 4-banger.....and how long it lasted before it blew up or broke the transmission...

For your info i have raced gts and yes i did win, and about your 11 sec theres srt4 running 11s and lower, and im sure they spent half of what you did do get your 11 sec car.

Yeah, I better sell my car and buy a 4-door homely looking Neon, spend gazoodles on building a powerplant capable of 11's, an entire driveline able to withstand 11's, which would require setting it up such that it was totally stripped of interior and all accessories, total drag suspension that would not be practical for the street and worthless in corners, that only would run on race fuel, would not pass any inspections in states that required them, would require constant and frequent rebuilds to keep from ventilating the block, lose my power convertible top and good looks and handling and reliability and collectibility, ALL SO THAT I CAN SAY I RAN 11'S IN A POOPCAN FOR A BIT LESS MONEY..... O.K., I'll get right on that......

Anyone paying $19000 for a neon has to be crazzzy. yeah it has 230 hp. Most of that comin from the turbo. Hey buddy all any of us have to do is bolt on a nice whipple or pro charger and were way over 500 hp. Please, you are not even in the same league sell your neon ,Get a muzzy and feel the torque . Thats one thing that bothers me about you guys. You dont want to admit the truth. We both know stock for stock srt takes the win. Im sure youve seen the videos of mustangs losing to srts and yes even cobras,and mach 1s, if you have trouble finding them ill be more then happy to get the links for you. The one thing i love the most is the funny remarks you guys have for our cars. If i want i can sit here all day and fill up page after page on your fords, but i try not to reach that low. I don't know where your getting your info from but the srt 4 is not faster 0-60 or 1/4 mile. srt 4 does have good hp and 1/4 mile times, but your still driving a neon. If each of us was given $3000 to add hp to the engine, which car do you think will produce the most improved hp.. The mustang is almost limitless to what you can do to the engine where the neon engine will fry trying to load too much hp. There is a limit to what the neon can withstand.i put down your car in previous posts but you got to understand something.your in mustang territory, mustang owners are the most loyal of all car owners and look at the stock production model as a building block and many will turn that 300 hp into more hp with little effort. The old mustang and the new one turns heads where the neon just doesn't. If your happy driving a neon , that's fine, When the 2005 mustang hits lots ,please take one for a test drive.I bet you will feel much better in a stang.

Blah blah blah. You're just trying to start something. That's the only reason you are on here. Give it a rest everyone knows the truth. I'm sure you can find a video of an srt-4 beating a mustang (I thought I heard a rumor they were doing another sequel to the ultra realistic fast and furious). But do you know why it's so hard to find a video of the mustang beating the srt-4? It happens so often and so easily. It's like bragging that you're a short ugly little troll. What would that make YOUR car????? See how absolutely stupid it is to equate how "great" a car is solely and exclusively on who can win a straight line drag race?? First off i didnt come here to start ****tt. I was responding to the comment made about real competition. Come on!! I was simply saying that you guys have trouble beating a srt-4, and your looking for competition, PLEASE! Whats with the name calling?, and im the child? For everyones info. Any gt until now would get beat by a srt-4. The 05 would be its closes race. 04 srt-4 runs 0-60 5.3 sec/ 1/4 13.9. How long is the mustang been out?? It took until now to get it to run 5.5 0-60 14.0 sec1/4. So dont tell me that dodge didnt do a great job with the srt-4. Someone asked how much it would cost to get the car to run 11s alot cheaper then yours. with only 1500 dollars you can get an srt-4 to run mid 12s. Thats amazing!!! Not like the most of you guys i respect everyone, and there cars. So stop with name calling.

This is the same reason i got my 01 SS. they were a hell of alot faster then gts and pretty close to cobras, but cost less. i love the T/A's also, my bro had one of those, but they were WAY to flashy for me. i mean come on, that snout thing on the front is outragous and that big @$$ wing on the back just looked stupid, to me.

I agree - and when the Formula and Coupe got a similar treatment in '98, I scrambled around (internet search) and found a '97. Think I'll keep it. Or maybe trade it for a Z-3. I've never owned a sports car - maybe it's time, now that I've retired and don't need to carry laptops and other stuff from plant to plant all over South Carolina.
