Saleen Replica Kit

  • Sponsors (?)

I just got done installing my full authentic saleen kit and it was by no means easy. Getting everything lined up and drilled was a major PITA, i drilled alot of holes. I managed getting the front bumper and side skirts on but the side scoops and rear i had to take to a body shop for them to put on which im glad they did because it took 3 guys 10 hours of labor to finish.

 :rlaugh: Your suppost to mount the bumpers to the car then take them to go get painted :jester:

Fiberglass does suck ballz :(. i got 2 saleen kits right now, 1 fiberglass other urethane. Im in process of putting urethane on with Borla side exhaust :hail2: :jester:

Your ok... I am an auto body man! Take your time... Line everything up use vise grips and so forth try not to put vise grips on your paint... Take off your stock bumpers side skirts head lights and stuff... Give yourself plenty of room to work with... Pop rivets is what i used to put on side skirts along with 3m double sided tape and if the tape dont work corvette panel glue does the trick too! Good luck!

I would just take it to the body shop. When I got my steeda hood painted on my old stang, they had to blend in the panels so everything looked great. So to keep from messing anything up I left it to the pros.
