Hey im soon to graduate college and for a gift my family is buying me a car. I have looked at everything out there thats new and nothing seems to excite me. Therefore I wanna get something classic. I used to own a 97 GT and loved it. Now im looking for a 67 fastback. Where are good places on the internet to find such cars. Ive been on a few sites and havent found really what im looking for. Any help here would be appreciated. THanks!

eBay and the collector car trader will help you locate what you're looking for, but be prepared to pay. The '67-'68 fastbacks are currently the most popular and sought after models right now because of the Gone in 60 Seconds Eleanor car and the ever present Bullitt popularity. Expect to pay upwards of $6K for a project and $10K or better for a rolling/driveable car that still needs some work. Finished cars are going for good money, $20K isn't unusual. Oh, and if I can ask a favor, please don't build yet another tired and tacky Eleanor movie car copy... please. :(

Haha..no Ill be sure not to do that. I want to build a very clean 67 without any of the body cladding found on those eleanors. I will say that I want to go with the dark grey paint, but thats just because I like that color. I will be sure to check those resources out. What are some good crate motors from ford that would fit in a 67. Any other help you can give is appreciated.
BTW...I was looking at totalcontrol products for suspension. Anyone have any experience with their products? Any picts of YOUR '67s??
Thanks
