i thought about getting those gaskets, but i decided i didnt want to wait so i just bought some red rtv and it worked well....either way, im gonna have to try to reduce some of that transmission noise

Thanks for the purchase man! I am glad you liked the gaskets. Many people are surprised about how well the gaskets actually work. People with shifters already installed with regular RTV silicon will really fell the difference once they switch over to my gaskets. No more noise, vibration, or mess. Plus, I try my best to get gaskets delivered within 3-5 business days of payment. Lol, some people love the noise, and some people find it annoying. The vibration and buzziness is what most people cant stand. Before I came up with the gasket idea, my shifter would vibrate and make a buzzing noise whenever I was in 2nd or 4th gear. Now that problem is completely gone. If you ever get tired of the noise, let me know. Take care buddy.

Before I came up with the gasket idea, my shifter would vibrate and make a buzzing noise whenever I was in 2nd or 4th gear. Now that problem is completely gone. hmmm, no i dont have any buzzing or vibration, however my aluminum shift knob gets hot as hell sometimes. If i ever decide i need the gasket, Ill be sure to drop you a line.

Cool man, I will tell you this, the gaskets will not protect the knob from getting either really hot or really cold. Best thing to do is keep a shirt or towel in the car and cover up the shift knob when your car is parked out in the sun. Hope this helps man, later!

Nope...just throw the gasket on and reinstall everything.
