I'm currently in the middle of puttin a couple neon tubes and some LED's in my expedition. When i ended for the night the other night i had two tubes, and one led hooked up that worked fine. In my setup i have a couple of 8 position barrier strips and a swtch with an LED in it. I have a wire goin from battery to switch, out the switch and to one of the barrier strips. I have teh other barrier strip grounded and the swtich ground ran to that strip. I've ran some more wires over the past couple nights but haven't hooked anything else up yet. Today I'm blowing fuses all of a sudden. If i have everything disconnected except the switch, the led on the switch lights up and no blown fuses. But, if i hook ANYTHING up to the barrier strips the fuse blows instantly. I'm at a loss as to what could have changed from the other night to today why i'm blowin fuses all of a sudden. Any suggestions?

I put a short length of wire on the end of the leds with terminals so i could take em out if i need to. When i put my split loom on the wires in the doors, I wrapped electrical tape around each terminal so they wouldn't touch each other or the door and i didn't get the tape far enough over and a bit of the terminals were touchin each other and shortin me out.

here's a little preview of what's to come

The picture does it no justice at all. I'm also puttin led's in all the dash and ceiling vents, cupholders, and not sure where else. Also have two small neon tubes under the dash. Should look pretty sweet when it's all done.
