Those cars had some loud ass exhaust!!! The GTR's motor sounded so  ! When one of the Ford guys started it up and gunned the pedal, I thought the world was coming to an end  And then another Ford guy started up the Boss 429 and redlined it. :worship:  I needed a change of shorts after hearing these cars!

Damn Chryslers stole a little space on Mustang Alley  :bang:

hpim0309.jpg

One of the Ford guys let me steal the keys to a 2005 GT for a second! :D Here I am playing with the shifter (which felt way better than my 02 GT)

Well, compared to the rest out there, my car just felt inadequate (sp). :D

My exhaust felt so quiet and drowned out in the sea of Stangs with offroad pipes. That is why there was a change made to my signature below.

:uzi: People with too much disposable income

[/envy off] :D

I still love my car though! :nice:

Sweet pics dude! I am SOOOOO jealous seeing the pics you posted up of the GT-R. How did I miss all of the Ford concepts? Anyway, I do remember seeing your car and the license plate.....POS my @$$! You have a very clean ride. Of course, everyone always thinks that their car isn't nearly as nice as everyone elses because you always know where the dings/scratches are, the rattles, etc. My POS was parked down with the Yellow Mustangs (it was the only orange one parked within the rest).

Hello all, new guy here. A good friend of mine who has yet to register has been sending me links to this forum and i saw this thread so i had to register.

I was at the WDC and had a great time but im really upset that I did not see Mustang Alley. So I am wondering if someone can tell me where it is/was at. Please bear with me because it was my first trip to the Detroit area. My group stayed around the 12 Mile area. I think we covered about 4.5 miles in our big circle. I am not sure of any "landmarks" to account for how far we made it in either direction. Next year I am hoping to cover more of the 16 miles and definatly locating Mustang Alley!

The Ford concepts came out on Friday night around 9:30 or something like that. Morris Day & The Time performed also on the Ford stage. The cars were around the concert.

Yeah, I couldn't miss your car in that sea of yellow! I love the Mach chromies. :nice:

Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, my car has a lot of things only I would notice (a dented rim, paint chips on side skirt, and a billion squeeks and rattles, bugs on the paint). :D I need to make my exhaust louder to hide the chassis noise. I guess that everyone has some stuff that only they would notice.

Mustang Alley is on 9 Mile and Woodward in Ferndale. Just make sure you all register in advance before the cruise next year. This year registration for Mustang Alley ended early on the Wednesday before the cruise because they overbooked the Alley. It was only supposed to be around 300 Stangs but ended up being over 450! There were Stangs parked in back lots and side streets! It was crazy.

If you're planning on covering the 32 mile round trip of the cruise route, I hope you have a strong clutch foot! :jester:
