I took out the fuel pump and wiring harness for the pump, but I am stuck. I modified it and removed the wires for the tail lights and un-needed stuff. So here's my problem. There is a brown/red wire running from the pump to the inertia switch, then a green/light green wire runs from that to a connector and another harness. I am at a loss right now. Where does this green/light green wire go to? What did you guys do to hook up the power to your fuel pump? What all am I going to need to get the fuel pump working on my '65? The fuel pump wiring is the last thing I need off the donor car and want to get rid of it ASAP. Thanks!

Dunno the colors for a 94-95, but the fuel pump feed goes to the inertia switch and then to the fuel pump, the other lead from the fuel pump goes to ground. There should have been a short connector harness on the fuel sending unit that has the fuel pump and fuel sender feeds.

I think the stock wiring has a ground in the harness for the fuel pump and sender, but I think you can just run the grounds to the body.

Fuel pump-has positive and negative. Negative obviously simply grounded.

Positive comes from fuel pump relay.

Fuel pump relay has 5 wires hooked to it.

1- is the 12 volts constant
2-12volts out and on this wire there is a fuel pump monitor wire that runs to the eec.
3-turn on lead from eec low voltage.
4-ground.

I looked under drivers seat when I heard it was under there before. No relays what-so-evern. Is there any way I can do it on my own without all the extra jumbo? The EFI swap is starting to get hecktic, I have alot of stuff to modify using a '94 engine.

Where can I find the fuel pump relay that I need at a parts store or something? Any pics of one hooked up? My head is just spinning trying to figure out all the stuff I need to modify to make this engine work...ahhh!

first take a deep breath and relax, it's easy if I did my first efi swap at age 19 you can also.

Getting a wiring diagram will help you understand what all those wires are.

Yes you can get a relay from the parts store.

Sorry no pics.
