Things could not get any worse....spoke to soon

Well here is my story 2 weeks before hurricane charlie hit fl (where i live) some indian lady ran a stop sign making me t-bone her and wrecking the hole front end of my car :nonono: sooo then all the front panels dont fit right anymore everything is mishapen and screwed to hell....then charlie hits fl....and a tree falls on the top of my car :bang: wow okay my roof is caved in.....front end looks like a 12 year old without braces on his teeth....but it still runs somehow  lol but since the front panels get messed up they started rubbing on my door making it hard to open and finally making it so my outside door handles rip off....not being able to open my car anymore from the outside....went in through the trunk....now i gotta leave my windows open at all times.....(through charlies lol buddy storms that came after he left) now my car smells sooo good....and i just got a letter in the mail saying that this lady that ran the stop sign says its not her fault wont pay me and there is no law that requires her to pay me! :damnit: :uzi:

And you say it's not your fault. Investigation time.

Man, that sucks....That's one thing I hate about FL. We have this "no fault" law or something. I got into a wreck and this old woman was obviously at fault. The cop said so and gave her the ticket. Then I go to collect the insurance money (State Farm sucks big ones) and they say that their client was only 75% at fault for the accident. HOW ARE YOU ONLY 75% AT FAULT?

So they wanted me to pay 25% of the damage on her car. My insurance ended up going to court with them and I am not sure what happened from that but I only ended up with money for 75% of the damages on my car. Luckily my dad was friends with the owner of a body shop and did the work for what they gave me. What the hell is up with that???? :notnice:

The damn insurance companies do this crap all the time. No matter if its auto, homeowners, medcial, workers comp, etc. They always attempt to deny the claim or part of it because there are actually people out there that take this crap.I had an insurance company deny a claim when it was somebody elses fault so I went to small claims court and filed against the other driver not their insurance company. The day before the court date the insurance company called me telling me I wasn't going to win and I told them I'll let the judge decide that. They cut me a check for the full amount that day. You have to be a thorn in their side or they will try to sweep you under the rug. Call them every couple of hours a bug the crap out of them. but when you talk to them always stay calm and don't let them see you mad. Hopefully you took some pictures before the hurricane damage.Take a bunch of pictures of the area where it happened and write up your own incident report. If you need someone else to write it up so it looks really good , do that. F them don't let those SOB's get away with it.
