i went 15.4 @ 92 when i was bone stock and it was my very first time racing on the track. i should be a little better now

Thats impressive, I thought bone stock auto verts hit like 16's. Maybe my auto vert is not as slow as I think it is.

thanx man, i really thought it was ok. i know i could have hit a 15.2 but didn't have the practice to do so. plus, that night i ran it like 8 times. the first 5 back to back (how stupid was that) and couldn't get it under 15.7 and after i calmed down, i let it cool down with an ice bag on top for about 20minutes and hit 3 straight runs at 15.4 @ 92. i'm really happy with my car.

2300??? that's too hight for the stock convertor. i can't go over 1400 cause i start to spin. and yep, i did have to powerbrake, i have been practicing my launches a lot and i think i can hit a pretty decent 60s. the night i went, they weren't posting 60s cause it was free racing.

15.2 @ 90 mph with 3.73's and flowtech weld in mufflers pinging like crazy all the way down the track in hot weather. Since then I have added a Bassani catted x-pipe. In 2 months, I'm adding a Precision Industries 9.5" 2,800 torque converter. Hopefully my times will be a little better if I can get traction.

I was actually letting my wheels spin some. That's how I got the best times. I think I was up near 2000-2200 on my best runs. I would stage shallow and as the lights came down I was creeping forward some but not enough to red light.

CHEATER, I'm calling you out. j/k, hey it works, i guess i'll try it too.

As slow as My car is I need every bit of help I can get LOL. IMO its the best way to get a good 60' out of a stock AODE. That was the only way I could get the R's up high enough to launch pretty hard. But still not near as hard as I'd like. I'm hoping to get a PI 2800 stall one of these days then my brakes wont take such a beating at the track.
