for those who have superchargers.. where did you order it from and how much did it cost??? also did you install yourself??

I ordered mine from the former T&J Performance, now Modular Powerhouse.

I paid about $6500 for the charger, fuel system, and tune. Tim is by far the best tuner for the 4.6 and the 5.4.

I installed it myself, took about 14 hours to install but that was in March. I had to stop every 20mins or so to warm back up.

I got a awsome deal on mine. It is a B+M 144 roots supercharger. Cost me $1360 shipped from Ontario. It took me about 2 days to get it on and running. Alot of that time was fabing some parts. I had to take the tensioner unit off and cut the bracket so the snout would clear the rest of the bracket. Re-routing the top rad hose was a task also. Basically it was not that hard of a job just a pain in the arse trying to overcome those few problems. Those blowers are $4200 shipped from Summit Racing.

Didn't, I added it to my buy out. In all I put 10G's into mods last year.

It was used. I bought it from pal who decided to go fuel injection rather than carb in his 85 GT. I seen one in the Edmonton bargin finder for $3400. Ebay has had a couple and they go for about 1100 usd.

Anyway you slice it superchagers are not cheap.

You wanna play, you have to pay.
