What's your favorite 05 mustang color? + Why no hood stripes option?

I Really like the Legend Lime and Charcol Grey 05 mustangs. To me a legend lime stang would be amazing with black hood stripes.

The silver gt below looks incredible. why no hood stripes option?
personally, from the other pics on the barret site, I don't think the silver mustang looks as good on the road as it does in the show pics but the hood stripes are INSANE.

I thought that color was Titanium that they were going to offer in '06. I believe that the reason theres no hood stripes is because they might be used on a Shelby or something.

My favorite color is black, black on black.

Black and Mineral Gray. The Satin Silver appears to be a bit too light for my tastes, and Sonic Blue a bit too purple--I'd rather see a true dark blue. Both reds look great but I could never own a red car. Mostly I'm pissed that there's no dark Highland green, which is the best color on Mustangs, period. Hopefully they'll make that titanium color or Highland green available in 06.

Green sucks! Silver is the best color for Mustangs! You can have custom made stripes made. After a while they will probably be selling them on eBay.

I think silver is one of the best colors on the 99-04 Mustangs, which have so many sharp edges, but it looks really bland on the new car IMO. Maybe I'll change my mind when I see it in person...

That would explain it. I was thinking that the silver looked so much lighter in the other barret pics. For a second I thought It might have been two different colors. Thanks for clarifying that they ARE two different colors.

The mineral gray is a nice color, but i have grown tired of it due to (seems like) 8 out of 10 GT's on the road around here are that color. Did Ford offer cash back incentives on those?..lol.

It looks awsome in the picture FlashGordon posted, though the stripes might be helping out some. Black on the '05 is ok though I like the pics I have seen of the yellow V6. That thing is sharp.

the stripe option is part of the sport appearance package on the v6, the stripe is at the base of the door.

A lot of people say that the car looks better in person then it does in the pictures. Sorry to say, it was just as bland in real life. Still, you don't get a good feel for how big it is till you see it for yourself. The car is gigantic compared to the previous generations. Everything on it is big and bulky and there is no finess or sleekness to it at all.

I hate silver. Silver is a color for a greying baby-boomer's Mercedes or Lexus SUV.

I rather like the Legend Lime, though I'd love to see the '70 Grabber colors and Calypso Coral to return...

I think the Sonic Blue has a nice richness and depth, without being dull.

I would also love to see GT stripes... I hope they'll be available for '06...

Geez, with a speel like that you should go into political campaining! The red car I saw in real like was a plain bulky brick of a car. The silver one picture looks a lot better but, as I said in the post, it is probably due to the stripes. My whole problem with the car is that it is too plain. The lighting in that picture is also very good and shows off every line of the car. The yellow V6 I commented on also has stripes (V6 appearance package) and is more eye catching because it is yellow. Am I going to have to have a lawyer proofread my mosts from this point on?

Even though it's not out that way yet, that's my favorite 05 Stang right now. But, in terms of what's being produced, I like Black and Red.
