Do aftermarket "high-performance" lifters make noise until the engine is warm on a cold start-up? If so, what does the noise sound like. It's on a 2001 4.6 2V.

The OHC engine doesn't use lifters... cam followers maybe? Maybe a link to the product you're talking about would help, or maybe I should just go to bed :yawn:

Valve tappets, plungers, lash adjusters, lifters, etc..They are all the same thing...

I would think they would be noisy cause they are a solid setup right??
